Kelompok SEPI has commenced a project with a safe house for youths in the kampongs at risk or slums. The safe house called Pondok Rakyat, is a Non Government Organization which works in the slums of Yogyakarta .The safe house provides an education programme for the youths of the slums.
The SEPI group assists this learning programme through their teaching of art. In addition to art, the group promotes learning through the spirit of cooperation.
When not working with the youths from the kampongs at risk, the member of SEPI artists work at a shed. It is called "Studio 4 A" because it is located on Nyoman Oka Street number 4A Jogjakarta.
The latest project has set up an internet gallery which includes paintings done by the SEPI group and some of the youths from kampongs. These paintings are able to be viewed on the website http://www.kelompoksepi.blogspot.com/, and are available to purchase. The SEPI group will donate 25% of their painting sales to the safe house. The full 100% of the street kids’ sales goes to the children through the safe house education program. Apakah kelompok SEPI hanya berjalur di safe house for youth?
Atau juga ke jalur youth with problem (seperti narkoba ataupun yang lainnya...).
